§ 8-39. The Associated Codes and Standards adopted.

There is hereby adopted for the purpose of providing minimum standards and requirements for the use, maintenance and occupancy of all dwellings, dwelling units or structures within the corporate limits, that certain code known as The Associated Codes and Standards, 1994 edition, together with all subsequent revisions. Such code is adopted and incorporated in this section as fully and completely as if the code were set out in this section verbatim. A copy of the code is on file in the office of the municipal clerk. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this code and the provisions of the Code of Ordinances, state law or ordinances, rules or regulations, the provisions of this Code of Ordinances, state law or ordinances, rules or regulations shall prevail and be controlling.
