§ 8-38. 1995 CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code adopted.

There is hereby adopted for the purpose of providing minimum standards and requirements for the use, maintenance and occupancy of all dwellings, dwelling units or structures within the corporate limits, that certain dwelling code known as the 1995 CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code, as published by the Council of American Building Officials, together with all subsequent revisions. Such code is adopted and incorporated in this section as fully and completely as if the code were set out in this section verbatim. A copy of the code is on file in the office of the municipal clerk. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code and the provisions of this Code of Ordinances, state law or ordinances, rules or regulations, the provisions of this Code of Ordinances, state law or ordinances, rules or regulations shall prevail and be controlling.
