Street numbers may be painted on the curb in front of the residence, black numerals
on a white background, not less than three inches in height. Where there is no curb,
numbers may be posted on the mailbox, walk, driveway or common entrance to the building.
If the mailbox is chosen, numbers must be posted on both sides, in contrasting color,
no less than one inch in size.
