§ 4.1. Purpose.

Where required improvements have not been completed and certified by the applicant [or] developer prior to final plat approval, improvement guarantees may be provided to ensure the proper installation of such required improvements. The nature and duration of guarantees shall be structured to ensure installation of such improvements without adding unnecessary costs to the developer. The developer will adhere to the town's policy regarding the preparation and management of the bond instrument.
